Happiest of birthday wishes, GA! You were THE first to welcome me to the site. I had been enjoying your posts before then, and still do.

Thanks guys what a great way to end the evening-with friends! It has indeed been a great day. I had many personal shout out from friends both here and from out there. Came home to a steak dinner and five layer chocolate cake! Got to get a drink in before bed. Thanks for all those that shared one with me! You all are the greatest and I am honored to both be here and call you friend.
Respectfully,

You should really consider getting a new still for your birthday.

Something nice, maybe with a little automation built-in.

Well raketmensch as a matter of fact I got one! The first in the USA! I have no wash at the moment but will be trying it out over the holidays. Very neat unit with nice workmanship and smooth lines. Was package very well and easily assembled. I did have to change the Euro plug to an American 220 version but that was no problem. I can't hardly wait to get a batch through it!

Happy birthday GA, Looks like you had a dandy one. That new still sure has a lot of doo dads on it, should be fun to figure out.

Thanks Corene! I was looking for you earlier actually. The new still is nice. Three temp guages to watch the temps at differing locations. This is a manual valved unit so learning the temp correlations to abv and output fractions should help to make better cuts then even now. For $1350 to the door is not unreasonable I didnt think especially compared to others out there including my own build!

My guess is that you will have it figured out in no time . Getting something new always seems to get a persons juices flowing a little more than normal.

That signed bottle was at S3 flatwoods. I'm looking at it right now.
Sucks that it is empty.

That was at my buddy's house. In Colorado. You know him. I was pretty excited to try it too! It didn't disappoint either. Just enough of everything man it was a great drop.

I know I'm a bit late but happy bday anyway flat woods! I know we don't know each other well but I've learned from your presence here and enjoy your posts. I may have in fact tried a swig of your bottle at s3 but that's the problem with having 60+ bottles to choose from, you unfortunately are bound to forget at least a few... hope you had a good one today and many hereafter  peace and happiness,

I have a similar bottle that I am looking at. It was my distinct pleasure to finish the last few drops left on my birthday with cigar from HDNB in hand.

I lice you guys...
