It's all about copper nano particles
They said they can go up to 60ABV and it would be primarily used to store energy, and then burn ethanol to produce some energy back.
I don't know about drinkability tho.
May be one day
Speaking about laws, I doubt that it would be legal to produce alcohol this way more than another.
