An entirely new way of making alcohol?

Little or nothing to do with distillation.

An entirely new way of making alcohol?

This link was sent to me:

There is no real explanation of the physics or chemistry of the process, so I find it hard to believe.

Someone knows more about it?

To make alcohol without distillation: is that automatically legal?

This is a bit dated but here's the scientific paper I presume: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1 ... 01169/full
It's all about copper nano particles :)

They said they can go up to 60ABV and it would be primarily used to store energy, and then burn ethanol to produce some energy back.
I don't know about drinkability tho.
May be one day :)

Speaking about laws, I doubt that it would be legal to produce alcohol this way more than another.
