I ran the ice cream truck a couple days ago... and as I traversed one block I saw a gentleman maybe in his 90's. He walked across his yard half stooped over. The icecream music was playing and I saw him look my way. Almost instantly I saw him stand straight up and transform from a man in his 90's to that of a 19 year old. He came to full attention and performed a perfectly practiced salute. I drove by and noticed he was wearing a tan cap with 4 letters on it.... USMC
He saluted till I was past and transformed back into the man he is today.
The ice cream truck flies the American Flag on the roof.

A friend died in a house fire and they shipped his body to be buried in his home town of the Quad Cities there at Iowa & Illinois.
As the funeral procession passed through the small streets of Bettendorf, not only did people stop their cars,
they got out of them and held their hands across their hearts!
