I aint dead. But almost...

Post by Hillbilly Popstar »

Hey all...
Or those who remember me anyways.

I ain't been around in about 2 years.
I went through a divorce.
I was homeless for a bit, then I lived in an apartment for about a year. The whole time my still and equipemnt sat in my shop in the ex wife's backyard gathering dust.

Well I finally got it all back and making a sweet feed run now. And while I was in my shop I found a quart of 125 proof tails that had been sitting for 2 years. It was delicious! Life is good.

Glad to be back at it. Shine on!

I am seeing more and more homeless on the streets in the last few years. Not sure what the answer is but glad you are now back on your feet.

Well, I wasnt really homeless, but I did spend about 6 months sleeping in a sleeping bag, on an air mattress, in my cousin's house that had no insulation and was being remodeled.

She got me for $1200/month in child support. But I am getting all distilling equipement and tools back. Plus the new SOH is younger and hotter, so I guess all's well that ends well.

Postponing the inevitable is a good general description for about 80% of the energy we each expend year by year. The other 20% makes it all worth it.

Trade in for a new model for the low, low price of just $1200 per month. :)

That's steep for a younger model! I traded mine in for 10 German Shepherds, and they cost me approx. 140/month, and they keep humans out of the yard.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing, and started to type but decided I would be quiet. Of course leasing around here could end up way more expensive both physically and mentally. My Shepherds look much better than the leasing options here.

$1200 a month might seem steep but I guess it depends on the new upgraded model and finances. LOL

I upgrades about 12 years ago for $2200 a month and traded in a +8 year old model for - 10 year old model. Well worth the upgrade price IMHO. :)
New model is more a long term lease but no longer a lifetime contract.

Onwards and upwards - I traded my nutter ex for a much hotter, but also much more understanding model 8)

The ex berated me all the time for my beer brewing. The new model stood by patiently while I built a brew shed - hell, she even helped me source materials for the build  Then we moved house and once again I turned a shed into a brewery - and now she's even happy with this new hobby 8)

Costs a bit in the alimony, but worth every penny I reckon

Not withstandin’ the number of men folks that have gotten in trouble over that, ain’t no “lol” about it. But speaking’ as one that has kept it together neigh on to 50 years I’d have to vote for buyin’ in. Takes the right woman, it does.

Ive been down that road. After my divorce i hit the streets so i decided to hitch hike and freight jump across the country. Came back home and jumped up on my feet slowly but surely. Took a few more failed relationships but nothing i could stick with until about a year and a half ago i found myself with a wonderful lady.

Edited for serafinas benefit.

Good ya back on ya feet

Hey gents, I'd like to remind you that not everyone on this forum is male and that some of us think that talking about women like we are machinery is offensive. That is literally objectification.

When you seek to find offence, you will never fail. No obligation to read it, if you don't like the content.

It's a joke, and shouldn't be taken seriously anyways.
