I wish I didn't think of JD as a first impression for such a staple of the community

Do you need to have it legally logged as a Trade Mark to have that on it ?

It looks cool , just curious about it .
Old habit from printing days when I would spend a lot of time doing stuff on spec for potential customers.
In "the business" even if a client buys a "project" made for them, they don't get ownership of the artwork.

Also, since it is a "LOOSE interpretation" I may - or may NOT - have seen elsewhere - the trademark symbol is something to help CYA.

I understand COMPLETELY!
I don't - won't - drink Jack.

Maybe we should think of it as an inside joke since most of us know what swill it is.

THAT said, you made me think of another "staple".
I haven't had a beer in almost two years.
and when I DID drink beer, I hated,

I'm pretty sure that would stir up some UNWANTED attention but this looks kind of cool.

Not being techno savvy - or young enough I guess - to know how to simply identify North State Shine, I'm doing it this way.

Today was pretty hectic - Mother Nature played hell in Alabama.

But in between tornado warnings, the UPS guy dropped off some swag from North State:

I'm VERY impressed with how well the sublimation turned out.
Can't wait for coffee tomorrow morning.

THANK YOU!

TDick, the first cup is outstanding. Simple and to the point. Shading is spot on! My Bro lives near B-ham, he said it was pretty rough there.

Thanks guys. Had a tornado touch down about 15 miles from me - (that's not a HUGE deal, you get used to it.)
Birmingham & surrounding area was hit pretty hard.
More rain today with flooding over the top of the State. I'm on high ground.

And yes V, North State did a fantastic job on the cup.
It's now well broken in.

I was unable to find it last week. First time I looked in 5-6 years. Last rumor I saw was that pint is offshore.
