This Friday I will be flying to NC. We have an 8 bedroom house on the outer banks rented with our son in laws family who all live in Virginia for a week. I will be on the east coast for 10 days, any must see’s while there, distilleries in the area worth visiting, etc?

Sounds like a nice trip Bushman. The Wright Brothers Memorial at Kitty Hawk is pretty interesting if you like history and aviation.
Plain ole pot rig.

Haven't been to that area in years, but I thought picking up some stuff at a Brew Thru was a unique experience.

Hoping the outer banks will have some breeze.

I'm not sure which part of the coast you're going to but this is in Jacksonville North Carolina. Also there is one in Weldon North Carolina right off of right off of I-95 at the virginia-north Carolina border.

if you were staying closer to the Virginia line there is also one in Newport News called Ironclad Distillery.

Currently at the outer banks of NC. Our house that we rented is on the water and it is newly remodeled and fantastic. We are here with our son in law and his family in a 6 bedroom home with a swimming pool. Having a fantastic time but while I was out golfing I asked my wife to buy me a bottle of rye whiskey. I haven’t had a store bought bottle in years so she brought home a bottle of Bulleit Rye. I found it to be a bit harsh but when your with family members you have a good time regardless of what you are drinking.
