Either one should be able to provide what you need or something close.

53kw is 53,000 Watts

Do you mean 5300 Watts, aka 5.3kw?

hpby98 Nope, I think he means what he writes 12 elements at 4400 W each is just shy of 53 KW.

He's posting in the section for craft distillers, this won't be a hobby scale rig.

I've never dealt with Swede but he has been around for a long time making controllers. Not positive but I think he lives in Canada.

WTF - This BS is way outside "hobby" level - and all these cross references cast a little more suspicion !

a bit big for hobby. we'll consider this asked and answered with a lock instead of delete.

i'm reopening in craft distilling after discussion with the OP. I think there are people here that can and will help with the source of the equipment required for the goal.
electric equipment is not a problem from my perspective.

It is a craft distillery we are talking about and OP is the installing contractor, not the owner, so he is not at liberty to post the name and DSP.

Well I could never get any reply to inquires to build the system. I ended up building myself. Got all parts from Automation Direct. Control is a Productivity 2k PLC. System working good. Needs some fine tuning on the automatic controls and recipes. I wired the heaters into 4 banks of three heaters connected in a delta configuration. I put a third SSR on each bank for safety. Each bank is burst fire time base control. I delayed the turn on time of each bank 1/4 of the time base. This way the heaters turn on is staggered so the heaters do not turn on and off all at the same time. Two Industrial GFIs monitor the heaters for current leakage. Mixer speed control is a VFD also from AD. Wash motor and mixer protected w/ overload breakers. Delay auto start, Run until, etc all programed in. Display he went with the 15" touch screen. Down the road will add logging and remote monitor and control w/ phone. The unit is installed in a licensed system in California. No names until the doors open.
