hello
i thourght abuot buliding a new fermenting tank in stainless steel with conical 60 degrees bottom, it should hold 100
liters or 26 us gallons.
then weld a second cone outside the other cone to make it a double boiler, then it should serve me as water boiler when you add the sugar and fermentation tank and boiler for destillation.
the diameter would be around 550mm or 21,5 inch.
question .... how much head space do i need in the tank....do you think this is a crappy project

Re: fermenting tank
yes i could use the tank, but its only 25 litres capacity. i belive its the same amount of work remaking this tank or buliding a new. its gonna be pretty tall if you only make the "pipe section" of it taller, must leave space available for coloum.
but thanks for the reply, great tank for a smaller project....
