For us small batch folks I think this would do a great job as a mash tun (100 cups = 6.25 gallons)

You would need to hand stir/vorlauf but that's not much trouble. Also would be great for gelatinizing corn.

If it has the "secret" heating coils under the bottom I think it would do fine. There may be a small issue with "Scorching" so your stirring would need to be pretty continuous I think.
I use something very similar as a still ! - Also for "Sous vide" cooking.
They do have thermosats on them which prevent boiling, which I had to bypass, but that may not be an issue for you.
