Thanks! Turned it on at 6 this morning. So far so good. Looks like I'll finish 30-35 ahead of the gas this time. Started with a really cold wash cause I skipped a week to mash in another batch, thus removing today's wash from the warming pads and just letting it sit in the garage. Was 41 degrees, usually start a wash at 75+. So that added to the time. I'm thinking overall, the electric will shave 60-75 minutes off a run. It's so much easier to control the going with a flame. And no unwanted heat/moisture/COs let into the room.
