glass condencer

i have done extensive distillation of essential oils before, and because of it i happen to have a glass cndenser, it is two feet long with a straight glass tube through the center, i know it will thouroughly condense whats coming through, but it wiil be hot when it comes off, is this o.k.

As long as everything is getting condensed, you should have no problems. If you wanted to try and increase the heat transfer from the water jacket to the inner tube, you could try stuffing a torn apart copper scrubber into the inner tube.
