Has anyone used these type of fittings for cooling hoses? I know that hillbillystills.com sells them but they are the size below what I need. I am looking for 1/2" OD tube size. This would make things easier getting the condensers seperated from the column of my new flute. Here are some that I found at grainger.

Yes, I have used them both in my line of work and on my rig. When I use them on my rig, sometimes you will have a small leak when you turn the water on, but all you have to do is push the two together to get the leak to stop! It's a nice clean setup!

I use them, they actually have ones made out of stainless. My buddy got them from work. They work great.

I use the 1/4" ones... That particular fitting is the same price at amazon and has free shipping on orders over $25 or w/ prime. I buy all my push fittings on amazon
Re: Push to connect fittings
I just upgraded the cooling lines to my VM with John Guest push fittings and 10mm hose...
Very cheap and really makes the whole process a bit easier to set up... No more phantom drips every now and then...

Haven't used them yet - planning to get these - this price looks excellent for 10:jbabb wrote:Has anyone used these type of fittings for cooling hoses?
