CCVM CSS coil (pic): please advise

This is a 2" column, the coil friction fits. I think it descends enough... thoughts?

Looks good! Weave a pot scrubber through it to increase the surface area for the cooling!

Good idea. Proof will be in the pudding of course, but do you think the amount of coil at the takeoff will be sufficient to fully reflux?

Yes, especially if you have it “plunged” into the column like your photo. But, add the scrubby as suggested. It will increase the conduction surface area for the vapor to condense on. That will improve performance.
