Csst condenser
I’m going to build a Boka with a 2” column using a 5500 watt element for heating. I’m toying with the idea of using csst as my condenser. I’ve used a 1/2” x 48” csst and coiled it into shape as shown and it fits tight against the inside of the 2” column. What’s the consensus on this type of condenser and the way I have it so far?
Re: Csst condenser
Where did you find that length of hose I need one for my ccvm reflux condenser.yours looks like it will work fine
You have two ears and one mouth for a reason....
Re: Csst condenser
How long did the condenser wind up being? Would you take a picture with a ruler beside it? I need one to complete my CCVM as well.
Re: Csst condenser
Can you see the pics in the original post? One has a tape measure alongside the condenser.
Re: Csst condenser
there's a tape measure right next to it

Re: Csst condenser
It’s tight so I just wonder if the vapor will get through like it needs to
Re: Csst condenser
I think I read somewhere a while back from when this was just being figured out that a gentle twist was better at least towards the bottom so that your up and down adjustment would be more easily controllable.
Re: Csst condenser
I'm ordering the hose to make one of these

Re: Csst condenser
I’m not sliding it up and down. I’m using it as a condenser in a Boka design.
