water cooler and a very cool old engine video

Post by Brutal »

This is a video about an old ass engine that can run at ZERO rpm! I am posting it because it has a sweet waterfall type water cooler. You could use this to cool the water for your condenser. Hope you ladies and gents are doing GREAT! I miss you guys and hope to be back one day soon. Cheers.

Very cool! Maybe it is running in HRPMs (half revolutions per minute) :D

He was running it dry with no cooling though, I wonder why?

There's an RV park we visit every year that churns home made ice cream with on old single lung engine. Last time we were there, All I could think of was how cool it would be to hook it to a grist mill.

My guess is he only needed it yo run long enough to make the video and figured it probably wouldn’t get that hot , so he just couldn’t be bothered with the extra rigmarole.

Shame though, would have been curious to see how effective it was .

I love old machinery like this especially if they are still operational. On a side note I used to have a sand blaster like the one in the background. Wish I still had access to one at times.
