Keg Boiler with Options

In our view 30 gallons and under is considered hobby size. Do not bring anything larger than this to our site.

Keg Boiler with Options

Post by Oldvine Zin »

Hi everyone I'm new to distilling but reading almost everything, now building and trying to do my best. My goal is to make a great Grappa. Ultimate plan is to have a double bath (bain marie) pot still setup. Knowing that I have so much to learn I'm planning on making a modular boiler setup that I can grow and learn with .
After deciding that I wanted to go the keg route the next step was to get a keg. Easy right? Craigs list get a keg for almost nothing, lots of them out there with our artisan brewers name on them, with a little more reading learned about the hardships of the craft brewers replacing the stolen or lost kegs. - Don't want that bad karma on my shine! Bought a nice shinny new one for only a little more than a used stolen one.
