Any info about these kegs would be appreciated
Local is selling a bunch of these cheap and I was thinking of grabbing a few. I know they are all stainless from the inside.
Anybody here have any experience with these kegs?
Any idea what the top and bottom look like if I remove the plastic?
Is the stainless thinner at the ends, are they flat, round...?
Any info or experience with this kind of keg would be really appreciated.
I've used those black vulcanized rubber kegs, they are thinner then regular kegs and have no bottom skirt under the rubber. But it does insulate the keg nicely when going electric. I actually know a guy who pealed half the rubber off and uses it on a propane burner without any problems.

At worst it will be handy for low wines storage.
At best once you peel away the plastic bit you will have a good boiler, just add legs or a stand for it to sit in.
I doubt the stainless is any thinner than any other keg.
