deconstructing a old copper boiler to replace lead joints

In our view 30 gallons and under is considered hobby size. Do not bring anything larger than this to our site.

Used to work at a gun range
we would wet the lead so
A. we breaks our backs
B. we don't breath any of it in
I would suggest to give not only the solder a sanding
Do the whole rig just to be safe
When it's blue your true when it's red your dead
Rye whisky rye whisky oh dont let me down
Gunna have me a drink then gambol around
Here's some fiddle music

A radical way to do it, and remember I am NOT a metal-worker;

Cut out the old soldered joints and start again with new, safe solder.

Can't do it that way, it's too easy
Also if you cut out the solder joints,
the pieces won't fit back together

Yeah, I wondered about that.

Thanks to every member that gave advice. After testing the boiler I have been informed the joints are lead-free, and was welded by a machine using coppaflow, a non-toxic solder used for drinking water tanks.
I now have build the thumper and I am busy with the boiler hood and lyne arm assembly. Please can somebody point me to the correct thread where I may find out how large the thumper must be, compared to the boiler or still tank?
Also, how large the slobber box should be?
