I'm not a whiskey/whisky guy I thought this was a very informative video. it talks about Irish, Scottish to American, Canadian and even Japan. With some of the techniques that they use.

yeah came a cross this one when I just started out here, good info for sure.
I was almost put off by how hard it seemed to make malt whisky until i found out that you could buy it pre-malted :lol:

The part I found interesting was when they were drying the malted grain is that they dried it by burning peat. Thus smoking the malted grain before ferment.

I'm going to have to put this one on my to do list.
