A biased opinion

Post by Uncle Jesse »

I'm liking the wiki.

Looking better than ever! Too bad some of the old timers who helped edit the original version aren't around to see the progress!

I keep popping over to look at the wiki. You are doing a great job with it. Everyone should go over and check it out. There is a ton of great stuff for over there.

Work has been super crazy the last two months, but once things settle down, I’llI able to help again.
I've stopped fighting my inner demons. We are on the same side now.

I concur, just checked it out and it looks great. I will try to spend more time delving into the various layers.

I went to a couple 'random' pages. It took me to the 'evprouvette' page. I'm thinking we should at least put the word "parrot" somewhere in that page

I'm not saying I'll be great, but sign me up to edit and I'll use this as practice for the art of Wiki editing. With my minor contribution

Gotta confess, I played with the random page button for three hours the other day. Totally awesome way to fulfill my urges to learn random things while drinking.

Great! Exactly the type of thing it should be useful for.

If you find errors, or things you think should be added/clarified, at least post them in this sub-forum, if you don't want to register and help edit.

Thank you, the wiki looks great. I am just now looking at it for the first time in a long time, and as I do, I note an error. In the "Washes, Mashing and Fermentation" section one line reads:
Fermentation of starch into sugars by yeast.
Yeast don't ferment starch into sugar. Yeast ferment sugar into alcohol, CO2, and a host of other by-products. Enzyme activity in the mash is what breaks down starch into sugar.
