then i had kids and had to smarten up..
now I'm a 3rd year automotive tech apprentice.
best job I've ever had, been doin it for 3.5yrs, work at a great place thats slack as heck and a person can get away with almost anything.. haha

I'm a logistics manager for a major big box consumer electronics retail company.
I started out as a cook to put myself through college. I've been a construction equipment (pavers/lasers) and car salesman. I was a chlorine worker and IBCW member...briefly. Got kicked up to the office. Then Enron killed it. Managed an auto body shop. Current incarnation sucks but it pays the bills and I've got kids and a gorgeous wife to support.
Long long ago I was a singer in a band but we peaked opening for the Cherry Poopin' Daddies (remember their one hit...Zoot Suit Riot?).
I'm a published columnist, essayist, short story and poetry writer. Jack of all, master of none. Still working on the Great American Novel...
