Filtering (not carbon) after ageing on wood

Post by welly »

Hey all,

Got a couple of batches in mason jars with offcuts from oak staves. One of them (a spiced apple brandy) is probably not far off being ready. I'm wondering what the best way of filtering before I bottle them? I'm not looking at carbon/charcoal filtering, just want to make sure I don't get any crap from the oak staves into the bottle. What do you lot use?

Cheers!
