Im done.,. Cant make the condenser!
Well i tried 4 times using all the hints i received and I cant make the damn thing. I even heated it red hot but the salt inside solidified and i cldnt get the water to run thru it..Plus it was pinched too.
Can anyone make me one to fit a 2" diam Cu pipe 1 foot long?

I am willing to try. What size tubing are you using and where can I get more size and construction details.
BTW- I tried to get tight bends in 7/16" copper and it was a total failure. I went to 3/8" and it bent like a dream. Can you use a smaller dia. condenser tubing?
BTW- I am in the States for shipping purposes.

Blueraven,
Did I send you that pic of my condensor? I don't remember posting that one.
Just leave the water hooked to it and pointing away from your grass...it will clear the salt. Takes awhile for water to dissolve 20 feet of salt.

Method:
Tape standing end to a member that is perp to the member you are coiling on. firmly but slowly wrap it ard the broom handle or whatever.
Where i messed up (I stink), particlarly when i added salt, was that i didnt reroll the pipe back to its orig coil direction..so when i started back coiling it i fig i must have started coiling it in another direction other than the orig coil
direction.
this time i didnt heat it , or use salt or anything extra..just firm constant
and slow progression of the coils.
I want to thank Alex for his expertise in this area..He's the man!
