1/4" ID and 1/4" OD

Post by diskmaster23 »

First time poster.
First time distiller...

I am currently working on a distill.

I am working on the condenser and I bought an reducer from 3/4" to 1/4", but it's made for the 1/4" OD, and I bought a 1/4" ID. What can I do with this 1/4" ID?

Btw, I love HD.org. It's such a great resource.

Are you talking about a peice of 1/4" tubing? How long is it, if its 3 inches, throw it out, if its 30 feet, save it you'll be able to use it when you decide to upgrade your still.

What I am trying to say is....how do I hook up a 10 foot section of 1/4" ID to a normal 3/4" copper piece?

I am planning on just having a 10 foot section of coil run through water as my condenser.

Nevermind...I figured out what I am going to do.

I found MyDBear's pictures on the wiki. I think his soldered brass fittings might just give me the idea that will make my thing work.

Please forgive me if I was very confusing.

Thanks for your help anyways.
