Horror movie? Halloween was the fist movie to really scare me. If its Sci-Fi, Aliens & Blade Runner are in my top ten. The Exorcist, for some reason I cant stand to watch that girls head twist.

Lets not forget the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" a clasic for sure!

On the new genre horror movies, I'd have too say Saw and Hostel are not bad...

I really liked Jeepers Creepers but I love all horror films, even the really corny ones.

I find horror pretty cheezy in general. I agree that if you're counting sci-fi horror, Aliens was a great movie and pretty scary too.

I personally prefer scary video games to scary movies as i can get right into them and get my ass scared off.
I remember I used to play "system shock 2" after midnight with the lights off and sound up, and freak the hell out over it... the plot was I suppose, a cross between the Alien movies and Stargate...

How 'bout the George Remaro movies. I love the special fx. Blood splattering exploding zombie heads! And the new resident evil 4 for game cube is my favorite game of all time. High tension and lots of scary monsters.
Oh, and UJ, Carpenter's The Thing is way up there on my list also. excellent spfx.
One more, Dead Alive by Peter Jackson. "I kick ass for the lord!"

I went to the theater and saw Carrie when it first came out. Have you ever seen a thirteen year old run, and I mean run, home from a movie.
Just saw it on the tube a few weeks ago, didn't have the same effect.

I like them french fried potaters, mustard and biscuts....mmmhhum, I recon.

Ok, slingblade is more of a drama, but quite beliveable and a bit disturbing. Only one killing if I recall correctly.

There is enough scarry sh*& on the news for my taste.

Havent seen the care bears movie since my sister was little....might be scarry enough for me.

Dawn of the dead, not to scary, but definitly gory and sometimes funny. The first Alien movie had me on the edge of my seat and the second one was good too....BJJB

I'd have said "Alien" but then I watched "Audition" and nearly spewed at the acupuncture scene.
