can i use regular steel pipes for my still, or the ones used for electrical instalations

Steel will rust, use copper or stainless.

ok i will, i was just asking, actually i already have all the material for my still,
one question besides this post, do i need to cut off the methanol and fusel oils to use the distilled
products as fuel?

Electrical conduit (pipe) I belive is galvanized? And I think the zinc, etc. will leach into your
product. Use copper or stainless.

Jose, if you are looking to run your car with alcohol, you shouldn't have to take out the methanol
as it burns quite nice. In fact, methanol is one of the fuels used in drag racing.

Yes, conduit is galvanized. Stay away! Zinc poisoning is not fun at all, as I have learned in my
younger days welding on galvanized.
