I did a wash with sour cherries 2 weeks ago...should be ready to run by the weekend. I made wine with sour cherries 2 years ago and didn't care for it much. This will be the first time I try distilling them... hopefully it will be a nice drink.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day and drink beer.
Recipe is in recipe section . I put a sticky on it .Also Im gonna take step by step pics on peach and berrys and will post if they come out and I can figure how to resize them. UR can allways use cherry likker to soak cherrys in to make a liquer.Thats what Im gonna do with blueberrys and peaches. And hopefully some pears and plums as welldye99 wrote:I tried to make a blueberry wash but it smell rank, almost a rotten beer smell. I tried distilling it but it still smelled funky. What recipie did you use if you would be so kind as to offer it...

Made a trip 2 weekends ago and picked up 125 lbs. peaches and froze em.
Gonna work em up after labor day vacation.
Last years peach brandy was good, but i think ive learned a good bit since then.
Picked up a bunch of sweet corn too. Should make a nice likker. Never cut off that many nibblets in one settin. Anybody got any tips? Thought I might try a paint roller cleaning tool, new one that is.

If it was easy everybody would do it.
