I tried to make a blueberry wash but it smell rank, almost a rotten beer smell. I tried distilling it but it still smelled funky. What recipie did you use if you would be so kind as to offer it...

I did a wash with sour cherries 2 weeks ago...should be ready to run by the weekend. I made wine with sour cherries 2 years ago and didn't care for it much. This will be the first time I try distilling them... hopefully it will be a nice drink.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day and drink beer.

Oooo, my pears are almost ripe! My apples have at least a few more weeks to go. I can hardly wait.

Made a trip 2 weekends ago and picked up 125 lbs. peaches and froze em.

Gonna work em up after labor day vacation.
Last years peach brandy was good, but i think ive learned a good bit since then. :D

Picked up a bunch of sweet corn too. Should make a nice likker. Never cut off that many nibblets in one settin. Anybody got any tips? Thought I might try a paint roller cleaning tool, new one that is.

Sweet corn?

Electric carving knife, the kind with 2 serrated blades that sit side by side and move like a reciprocating saw.

thinks for the tips guys. i afraid the electric knife might get too much cob. Neat tool holy but my corn is fresh frozen, wait if its still frozen it might act like dry corn. :? something to ponder for sure :)
