using blackbush for flavor

Post by Ricky »

an old freind showed up today and i desided to cut him a fifth for christmas. the only corked bottle i had still had some bushmills blackbush in it so i poured it into a glass and fixrd up him a bottle of 84 proof ujsm. after he had left i mixed 1 part blackbush to 2 parts ujsm. the result is pretty darn good. it has a lite golden color with a hint of irish whiskey but is so smooth it could get you in serios trouble. if the distressed aging i just got started turns out anywhere close to this i will definently be purchasing a barrell for aging real soon.

barrel ageing is far better than anything else I've tried. Can't even compare a barrel to any other method. Either the barrel is great or my other attempts have sucked... :wink:
