Fermenting CANNED tomatoes?

I have a whole shed with about 30 cases of canned tomatoes. i was wondering if i could ferment and how many qt jars to a 5gal bucket i'm thinking 2

2 qt jars of canned tomatoes
10 cups sugar
3 packs of yeast

then fill the entire bucket full of water
