hi all, my hydrometer is different from what most of you are using, i think ??
mine is black at the top starting with the #10, then drops to #0, then drops lower(about 5 inches) down to the #120...
i got it from col. wilson at coppermoonshinestills.com, it's made in
w-germany..(G.WIDDER) is written at the bottom..
he told me to take the starting #, just say 120, and the finishing #, just say 5, and and subtract, that would equal 115, then divide by 8, that would be 14.375 % ABV..
seems simple but i dunno where i should be starting at, was wondering if anyone else is using the same thing or if there's a chart somewhere to convert to the #'s i'm constantly seing here.... thanks

yea, it's labeled as a hydrometer, you can see a picture on his site if you wanna look it's kinda hard to see the numbers though..he also makes some nice looking stills/ sells distiller stuff, and is a super nice guy to talk to....
