Jim Beam black!? Makes me wonder about the taster...

I'd assume it was a panel of tasters.....and I guess they are saying value for money. It is only $20 a throw after all.
It is most absurdly said, in popular language, of any man, that he is disguised in liquor; for, on the contrary, most men are disguised by sobriety. ~Thomas de Quincy, Confessions of an English Opium-Eater, 1856

I assume they only sipped a bit.

If they're gonna take cost into the equation, they should spend a night drinking each and judge by the hangover as well.

I've had all the ones under $40 but the Jim Beam black. Kind of made me want to try it, and it is cheap, but I hesitate because the regular Jim is so bad. Now I'm really torn- probably try ordering it somewhere.

Of the others the Basil Hayden stands out in my memory. Recently had a Weller I liked, but I don't think it was the 10 yr. The EW single barrel is surprisingly good for the money, and esp. considering the regular EW.
