Wine Kit Price Increase....

Hi Gang:
I got an e-mail from Northern Brewer that Wineexpert is planning a 20-30% price increase on their wine kits at the end of January. I don't know if this is truth or fiction, but I did check all the usual sources for said kits and found that Norhtern Brewer had some of trhe best prices around. The kicker is that they have $7.99 flat rate shipping!!! If you get one kit or 6 kits, it is still $7.99 shipping. I don't know how they do it, but I checked the UPS Shipping rate from them to me, and it would normally be $180.00 (for my order) for shipping alone. This is a substantial savings and I wanted to let everybody know.

I'm not shilling for Northern Brewer, but if you want to save a chunk of money on something you may usually purchase, you might want to check them out.

good place to buy supplies from. I have purchased items from them and had good service.

I'd rather drive the extra 15 miles to Midwest. I found the desk staff in NB to not really know what they are doing.... and the store is too tiny, not enough on hand.

Just my opinion on the store... never ordered from their catalog.
