dentist can see me on monday...called in script for pain .and antibiotics..the medicine has started working pain quit yesterday stopped the pain killers fri. just keep taking the anti's till there gone.

I am not real crazy about taking anti-biotics - I always try to do without them figuring that eventually I may really need them and I don't want to have built up a resistance to them by using them for minor stuff. Most of the time when I question the doctor about them they tell me that they really only knock the infection down a day or two earlier than my immune system would anyway.
BUT: when it comes to a toothache, most of the pain is caused by the infection around the tooth, and the anti-biotics knock that infection down and dramatically reduce the pain. I happily take them when the dentist prescribes them.

Jesus Hook, you're as weird a bastard as I am. I hate leaving the house to go to town cos I have to travel for about half a mile on the highway and I swear that every heavy truck driver wants to kill me.
