Magnetic Stainless Steel?

Magnetic Stainless Steel?

I bought a 38qt Stainless Steel stock pot that is supposedly made from 18/10 stainless steel. I put a magnet to it and found, much to my surprise, that it was very magnetic. :x I have other 18/10 pots and they are virtually non-magnetic. Was I scammed?
