No game has caught my eye and imagination like Eve (<--- clicky) since the first online-game to get me addicted 15 years ago.

No, but I've always played a little browser game called Kingdom of Loathing (KoL by the gamers). Even if your computer has been around since 1996, has never been updated, and you have dial-up, it will still run it because all of the images are composed of black-and-white stick figures. It parodies virtually every segment of pop culture and is very addictive for those with a dry sense of humor (although, others are not going to be disappointed!).

If you don't like my description, you can always go here.

It's standard to pay a small monthly fee in the 10-15$ range per month to play any of the nicer online games.

But ya don't have to pay to play eve if yer organised. They will exchange 60 day or bigger game cards for in-game money! I have two accounts and I play free. I'm not even a serious gamer... a couple hours a couple times a week and it's more fun than TV (I like movies, but not TV).

I've heard of Eve

But never really looked into it, I'm more of a FPS gamer.

CoD4
Crysis
BattleFields

Is eve exciting to play? or is it like a World of Warcraft?
