strange floaters

Post by junkyard dawg »

Its in two carboys of wine. One is plum, the other is cabernet/tempranillo. It almost looks like pulp or some of the precipitate that normally settles out between racking. Both were made about a year ago and have been racked a few times. Sulphite levels are normal... Any ideas?

yea, I racked it again and thats what it seemed to be... never seen that happen before. These two carboys are only about half full. Most of the wine went into beer kegs and this was just a few leftover gallons. Probably going to be pretty oxidised, may just concentrate them...

Thanks guys.
