I rather like tattoos. I see nothing wrong with them at all - male or female. Bloody hell, everyone in Europe has the buggers. I felt a bit intimidated with only five.
I'm still a bit of a 'lout' I guess cos my plan was to get a tattoo in every city we visited in Europe but just didn't have the time. Maybe next time. No, definitley next time!!

old thread, but since it got bumped, I'll put in my two cents. the tramp stamp is a classic turnoff for me. don't matter how smart and beautiful and engaging and sweet the girl is either. that's just bad advertisement. I'm not a fan of tats in general (on guys or gals), but I could deal with a woman with a small tat on her ankle or shoulder, but anything much bigger than a fifty cent piece would also have me looking elsewhere.

tat's also look pretty gross when your skin starts to sag. they may look cool in your youth, but time always catches up to ya.

I think I got turned off of tatoos by my Grandpa. He had several tatoos from his youth, but when I knew him his skin was all saggy and wrinkled and that lady on his arm was not a pretty sight any more she looked old and tired and her tits were drooping. I couldn't even figure out some of the other ones. Made me realize at a right tender age that tatoos don't stand up to time. A damn good lesson, not one I intend to pass on the same way though.

I'm with you there Butch, have seen some downright fine looking tats on young folk but then thought what are they going to look like after they hit 60?
Not a pretty thought to me. But 'each to their own'

Personally, I love the things. I would be fully sleeved if I could talk my wife into it. BUT she would prefer no forearm tatts, so I concur,out of respect and sensibility. I am half sleeved, but throw on a shirt and I am just a regular untattood person. Maybe I will think about the back and torso I dont mind chicks with tatts, I would rather see one with ink somewhere visible than on the "ankle" or just above the butt-crack. Thats like saying "I wanna be a deviant but I am too chicken-shit to do it" (mind you thats only my opinion, and I certainly do not expect others to hold it). The only difference between tattood people and un-tattood people is that tattood people dont care wether your tattood or not

Nahhh, it's a really interesting topic.

It says a lot about the folk in here and how human cultures are so different. The western capitalist culture seems to think that tattoo's are an sign of a lout, criminal or other lower class of being or in the case of this topic 'tattooed women'. This type of judgment is of course absolute nonsense.

We all make illicit booze - enzedders excepted - yet get all judgmental about a bit of dyed skin, which incidentally has been a normal thing for many, many people of either gender to do for many, many thousands of years.

I know a few tattooed members of the Vietnam Veterans MC and they all seem to be quite nice respectable people, especially when we consider what the poor bastards went through when sent to those steamy jungles as targets before they were old enough to vote. These blokes all seem OK to me apart from war caused PTSD. I certainly would never be judgmental of them.

As for women having tattoos, I personally refuse to distinguish the difference on a gender basis as this topic is doing. I also know some gorgeous, well educated, very successful female skydivers who have tattoos. Nobody is going to call them trash.

Sure, tattoos get a bit saggy when one hits the grave, but so have we. Who cares? Rumbaba is 100% correct.

To me, just not worth discussion. Have seen some very beautiful tats on women, have also seen some that are pretty tasteless. Guess it all depends on perspective.
