i have always used SS scrubbers as packing so far but just bought the copper mesh pack from brewhaus. i cant seem to find a good way to pack it though. i seem to remember others talking about rolling it up and tieing the ends to make a 'sausage' i have tried this but cant seem to get it tight enough to fit into my 2inch column. it also seems to require at least 5 ties to keep all the 'guts' from spilling out in the middle and ends up being all lumpy and not even.
am i missing something here or what?
