(I can read and understand english very well, BUT writing is quite difficult.. so hope you understand..)
My reflux still is now about 3 years old now and going to do some modifications to it.
Column is 1250mm hight and packed with SS scrubbers, diameter 2"
boiler is stainles steel, vol. about 35 litres
Heat source: Hot plate 2000w
Head is 2" copper soldered with silver
connectors are from milking machine, stainles steel.
valve is SS ball valve, works quite well, little tricky to adjust...
Hole thing is also insulated (not show on pictures)
Hot plate sucks, my heat up time is ~3 hours or more... First mod will be 3kw water heater, inside the boiler and "non-portable"-control. (Something like 1500, 2000 and 3000)
With hot plate, when boiling starts the hole thing swings, waves and bounces.
(I must use differents supports to stop it)Plan is make new VM head.
I like to hear your opinions.
