I have a couple of batches of old wine (has not turned to vinager)-- a wise man told me to remove the scrubbers from my reflux column to use as a pot still--for wine should be made into brandy--I've only had one run under my belt (sugar wash). Do all the same rules apply for a pot still as reflux. What expected puritiy? One run or multiple? I have my reflux ratio all figuried out, but this will not be applicable. Toss 100ml instead of 50ml. What other differences should I look out for?
