Free software for labels

I have come across a great piece of software for designing labels, and its free.

does this have any add-ware to it? I have seen a couple of 'free' graphics programs which ended up not being all that free in the end.

No cost whatsoever I have been using for a while now, limited to one copy per download, you cannot then copy it to use on annother computer.

Corel. The best programs I've used for any graphics, flyers, retouching etc.

Gimp has some great add-ons in the 'Logos Extn'. It's free, works in windows, but a little complex when dealing with linux type stuff.

Choose from many plugins; choose colors and fonts etc. Lots of fun playing with the variations.

Gimp is similar to Photoshop - layers and all kinds of drawing and color manipulations are there.

Adobe illustrator is great for this stuff
and it is 'free' for anyone with an internet connection

favorite part is importing normal jpegs and turning them into vectorized images, which you can alter losslessly to your heats content.
