howdy all...
just getting into this fine art and am writing this as i am running my first batch ever. i just purchased an 8 gallon reflux from milehidistilling.com. great people to deal with and a great looking still.
for a quick start i used 22 liters of h2o and 13 pounds of sugar and a packet of 24 hour turbo yeast. waited till it was done fermenting and now im running it. i have it dialed in at 172 degrees and its dripping nice.
question:
How much heads can i expect? im tasting drops here and there and its hella sweet. im up to 200 mL already. from what i hear this is still in the heads category.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
