My shed

Putting older posts here. Going to try to keep the novice forum pruned about 90 days work. The 'good' old stuff is going to be put into appropriate forums.

My shed

Post by SuperDavid »

Is finally done! so I thought I'd post a few show off photos!
I got a stainless sink from my boss, shelving, lockers and stainless benches from my parents friend who works at a hospital.
It has come together well and I'm loving it!

That place only needs one thing...a second still!

Nice looking pad bro.
This is so much fun it ought to be illegal..wait..never mind.

51" LM and a 24" Pot still with 62" Liebig with turbulator and spiral coolant swirler thingy. Both running on an unmodified keg with Tri-clover clamp attachment.

good looking workspace looks like you need a few more fishing rods just kidding . Fishing and drinking go hand in hand.
how long do you think it will stay organised?

Thanks!
I've actually got two other stills there...one I don't use anymore and the other is a vm column that I need to make a flange for!

I hope I can keep it organised forever......but I know what I'm like so it might not last too long!

Hook is only 'slightly envious', but I'm bloody envious. My shed is disgustingly untidy. Maybe we should have a disgusting shed competition?
On the other hand, maybe not as I would definately win. :D

Well done, David.

I don't have a stillin shed. Just have to make space in the store room as required. :(

And I was being polite, Blanik. I am insanely jealous.

You must have a shit load of spare time on your hands...

It amazes me what people do with there lives, they work a 40+hour week clean the house spotless, mow the lawn, do the shoping go to church blah blah blah..

I work a 3-4 day week as far as cleaning and mowing goes just the very basics...

If i was in that shed it would look like a huricane hit it within 2 hours.. 8)

next time i give the shed a bit of a clean ill post pics...

dont hold your breath..

I'm envious. That is a mighty fine shed with a place for everything. A bottle tree...that's something I will be making now I've seen it!

Beautiful space Dave. Makes me wonder how I can get anything done in my converted bathroom.

I see what looks like my collection of rods, now where are all the Plano boxes full of terminal tackle and boxes of extra reels and parts that go along with them??? Seems to me I am always buying a handful of boxes for tackle and never have an empty one when I need it.

When I was setting up my (underground) cellar I made a bottle rack.
An upright piece of timber maybe five by two-and-a-half inches or a bit bigger, anchored to the wall, with 120 slightly angled holes in it; a row on each side and a double row in the front.
Unreal that it holds ten dozen bottles! (Inserted by the neck, of course.)

I've still got tons of my fishing gear inside! I'm probably going to move more stuff into the shed soon.

Bottle trees are one of the best inventions for home brewers!
