flavored shine
The old guy we got our shine from died and we need some help trying to figure this out.. He made peach and apple ext flavored shine . we have tried soaking peaches apples ext. in regular shine but it dont taste like his. Do you think he put some fruit in his mash ?? Can you put the fruit juice in the thumber ?? Help

did it have color? or was it clear?
if it was colored, most likely flavored after(much of the US brandy made this way). if had no color then the fruit probably was used in the wash.
(real brandy is made this way) of course if it was aged on/in wood the color whould be different.
