Hi again,
I'm currently running a commercial reflux and want a pot still head. I can get a Still Spirits pot still head for $80 Aus and am wondering if these are good enough to get me going?
I want copper this and copper that eventually, but I dont have the skills or resources to make it. Will one of these condensers (as pictured here in the first photo), do me for awhile? http://stillspirits.com/wa.asp?idWebPag ... etails=113" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
Im seeing it as a quick and easy introduction into pot stilling and I can upgrade from there...?
Thanks all
Is this pot still head ok?

A pot still head is a hard thing to get wrong. I haven't used that head, but it looks like it would work fine. If you do buy it you might want to look at getting some copper in the vapor path.
I'm a build it yourself kind of guy like many others on here, and like I said, a pot still is hard to get wrong. If you have any interest at all, I'd really encourage you to have a go at building your own. You wouldn't need much in the way of tools and I'm sure you could get it built for much less than $80 in materials. Either that, or do you have a friend with tools and skills who might be interested in some hooch?
