My first sugar wash

So last night i successfully completed my first sugar wash and it turned out quite well! This was just a trial run to prove to my self the i could actually make an ok wash. Now here's the question, can i drink this? I mean i know that i can, but is the taste going to justify the 'buzz"? And does this need any refrigeration after its been re-exposed to O2?

A second quick question, if one of you could point me in the direction of a good alcoholmeter, it would be much appreciated. Im located in the western US if that makes a difference. Just wanting to test my wash's alc%
