Is my leibig big enough or am i just splitting hairs?

Ok here is another one for ya to set me straight on,

My leibig is about 31in of 3/4" over 1/2" I cannot keep my heat on high after the alcohoul starts dripping.I have to back it down pretty good.I am running off a garden hose full out but it will not knock the steam out on wide open heat.I am a running propane burner it is about 60k btu,any thoghts or advice?

I am getting about 8 min quarts on my strip but the leibig cant handle full flame,Does this seem fast enough for a strip run or do i need to rework my leibig to handle wide open gas?

Or am i just clueless and this is good enough flow for a strip?
