I need some help please.............
I just finnished a run but are a bit concerned about the following. I used a 8L mash with a alc% of about 8% and run my still I collected the firts 100ml and discarded it then i collected about 400ml and put one side to ensure the tails are not present but the first collect only started about 72 degrees then the temp went up to 84 degrees celsius then I stopped i got 83% alc% clear liquid but as soon as i added my water it turned out milky is this due to tail present, some people say I run my boiler to hot and therefore tails sliped through is this possible and could you please advise me more I use a internal reflux still
