In the following attachment, how do you figure out the "collects its distillate at ____ % ?" Is it the overall measurement after a strip run or what?
The actual chart here is what I put (26%) because 9 1/2 hours later & still running, that is what my %abv is.

23 gallons at 7% should be about a little more than 1.5 gallons of alcohol. From what i read here the stripping run should be around 40% alcohol.

Ill bet you are not getting responses because you are not supplying the more experienced foljks with more information

My pot strips at an avg of about 36%...thats throwing everything together that i collected after the first time i stripped and measured...you cant tell what your avg is untill you did one run and measured the result...i collect right up to 210 degrees and that was my avg....once you did that then you can use the chart..hehe

*The chart assumes you are collecting 100% of all ethanol also..isnt gonna happen and it should only be used as a rough estimate.
