lyne arm water temperature ?

I know it is psoted somewhere, but I give up. How warm can your water get for your lyne arm in a potstill...or should it always be cool? Thanks

You mean the condenser water? It needs to be cool enough to fully condense all vapor so that none escapes from the output end. It helps if it's cool enough that the output is around 70*F or so so that you can get an accurate reading from your alcohol meter in the parrot if you use one.
15 gallon pot still, 2"x18" column with liebeg condensor on propane.
Modified Charles 803 w/ 50gal boiler, never ran so far.
